Yellow Grease from Used Cooking Oil
Used cooking oil is the fryer oil a kitchen sets aside. Collected and sold, that oil is yellow grease. When the fryer oil is a vegetable oil, it is also called waste vegetable oil. Yellow grease is not trap grease, and it is not an animal-waste product. Choice white grease is the animal-fat product.
Who does which job
GREASE.ORG collects the used cooking oil. A buyer sells it as yellow grease, and a plant may turn that grease into biofuel. GREASE.ORG does not run the refinery. The longer note on the trade name is the yellow grease definition.
