Grease Robot

The Grease Robot category holds the note on a grease-trap cleaning robot. The machine is an idea for scraping or washing a trap. It is not a pump truck, and it does not haul the waste away.

A trap still fills with fats, oils, and grease. Someone has to remove that material on a schedule. A robot that stirs or skims does not change the need for a pumping visit, and it does not change the city's FOG rule.

GREASE.ORG pumps traps. Read the article to see what the device is pictured as doing, then schedule a real pump-out when the trap is due.
