Commercial Grease Interceptor Services

A grease interceptor sits in the kitchen drain line or in the ground outside. It holds fats, oils, and grease so they do not go straight to the sewer. Small under-sink boxes and large in-ground tanks do the same job at different sizes.

Grease.org covers the service side of that equipment: pumping, wall scraping, wash-out, and a look at the inlet and outlet. A restaurant that needs a visit can schedule grease trap service.

An under-sink interceptor and an in-ground tank are serviced the same way. The waste is pumped out, the interior walls are scraped, the box is washed out, and the inlet and outlet are checked. A five-gallon box and a tank of several thousand gallons differ in how often that visit is due, not in the reason for the visit.

The pages below separate the kinds of equipment a kitchen may have. Grease.org's work on all of them is cleaning, pumping, and repair.
